Adamson House, Malibu point?
Or have you been there?
Yes, the Adamson house is located on the grounds of the Malibu Lagoon State Park. More information about the house and the history can be found here.
Good work!

Once you opened that up then a simple cruise over likely spots (La Jolla, OC Coast, Catalina Island, etc) w/ Google Earth turned it up.
Had earlier "found" it searching "Spanish Colonial" architecture, but the pictures were all of the other side of the building (and the date given was 1930), so missed it initially.
I am getting poised to be really annoying; in cleaning up my "man cave" (the spare bedroom Linda allows me to trash with my stuff) I'm getting phase I and II of my photo habit under control:
Phase Ia - film (primarily slide: 10-15 years)
Phase Ib - film (primaily negative/print: 15-20 years)
Phase II - film but with digital CDs (5 years approx)
Phase III - digital (last 5 years)
I think I've only used one Phase I (tear gas in Berkeley) and a small number of Phase II shots (St. Paul Island) up to now, in a few days the universe of possibilities will expand as I get the Phase II CDs migrated to my hard drive and start scanning in more of the older stuff (as time/inclination permits)
Don,
Looking forward to see what gems are lurking in your photo collections!

In the meantime, here is a little distraction -- I haven't made it out there yet to capture my own update in photos -- but you gotta look at this web cam... From this perspective it looks like the arch is already connected -- it's not, but getting closer every day!
The Cam updates every couple of minutes and so you can see workers moving around!
Since we've enjoyed so many of Gerald "Mr RoadTrip Thurman's photos, I thought we ought to feature one of his "self portraits' again...

Where could Gerald be sitting to get this photo? (Look at the water color...)

Near Antelope Island Marina, Great Salt Lake.
Wrong state, but there is a similar element to the water quality therein.

That is the Salton Sea.
Okay, what and where is this?

Note - I had to wipe out the name on the front and side of the building.
... somewhere on the eastern shore of Salton Sea, in the Desert Beach area.
