Heavy snow for this weekend.
As the title says, there is heavy snow Forecasted for the weekend with over 20 inches of new snow accumulation possible at 8500 feet. I wonder if we will see anything close to last years record snowfall?!

That looks like a skidoo track pushing snow out to the edge!

I have been watching the Web cam posting -- someone keeps pushing out a load of snow on a snocat or skidoo or something -- pile is much taller now.
Here is a close-up of that pile -- see the tracks to the right?

And the atmospheric river (storm) is starting to hit the Yosemite area -- starting to snow now -- will get very heavy snow showers in the next 2-3 hours.
Winter storm warning in place!
There looks to be a significant amount of snow about to settle on the ground from now, through the weekend and into Monday! Enough to cover those tracks and perhaps even form the 'Hump' to the shape we are more accustomed to seeing!
