I just looked at the streaming camera of Yosemite Falls -- above and it is snowing right now in the valley floor! Wish I was there!
....Actually, maybe that is sleet/rain -- it is knocking the snow off of the trees. In any case, it looks chilly!
I'd love to be sitting around the great fireplace at the Ahwahnee Hotel right now...

Temperatures are expected to reach 81F in the valley on Thursday and 60F at 8600ft, so you can expect the melt to speed up the flow ! What a wonderful time to visit.
The plows have started on Glacier point road and weather permitting it has been confirmed that plowing will start April 15 on Tioga Pass.
Recent Snow depth comparisions.
Tioga entry station 2012 = 58inches. 2013 =70inches. 2014 = 52inches.
Tuolumne meadows 12inches 18inches 10inches
May 2, 8am.

The Yosemite NPS.GOV site says Glacier Point is opening Monday (4/14) at noon.
That would be the earliest recorded opening since they started listing Glacier Point road opening and closing dates in 1995, the previous record was set in 2012 when it opened on April 20th. That year Tioga opened on May 7th. In 1988 Tioga opened in April to record the earliest and only April opening since Yoemite NP began recording dates in 1980.
I have seen pictures of bare tarmac along the Tioga already and it's pointing to an early opening unless a late onslaught of storms arrive, another record breaker perhaps.

The Glacier point road has been confirmed open and work on the Tioga pass starts today. The weather looks very nice and going by the flow of those falls the snow is melting fast !
I have also read that the projected opening date [weather dependent] for Sonora Pass [Highway 108] is for April 20th which which would be the earliest recorded on CA.gov. Monitor Pass [Highway 89] is open and has been since Jan 13th, it usually opens sometime in April !!

Although they only started plowing a couple of days ago the plow crews are already at Porcupine Flat and just look at how little snow there is and how watery it looks from a photo taken today.

The Olmstead Point avalanche zone should slow things up, but they are already only about 5 miles away from that point and already half way to the east entry gate from Crane Flat ! There is also high winds forecast and some percipitation on the high ground, but I'm still thinking this is gonna be an April opening.

Yes the road up to the entry station is open and clear and from what I can make out, it's pretty clear for quite a way into the park, although there was a light rock fall across the road recently.
I read somewhere that the road to Bodie opened on the 15th April
There are murmours that Sonora [108] will open today, but as yet that hasn't been confirmed on Caltrans.

It's normal for Ebbetts to open in May with last year being the earliest opening in recent history on April 24.

It looks like the Tioga Pass has been reopened, the CalTrans web page no longer lists the winter closure.
The Tioga Pass is still closed other than a section opened for cyclists this weekend.
The road you have linked to is CA140 John which enters Yosemite from the south and is open year round. Tioga road crosses the mountains east to west [and back] in the park from Crane Flat to the east entry station and is a section of CA120.

Travelling from Finland to LA -> Monterey -> Yosemite -> Death Valley -> Vegas. We had quite poor snow winter in Finland and Sierra Nevada seems to be suffering from the same thing.
