There's something vaguely familiar about this shot - I'm sure I've seen that bird head to the right somewhere before (possibly even on RTA) but it won't come to me.
And I've drilled down into double figure pages of Google results for Cyclops+roadside attractions without success. I reckon we need a clue please Mark!
Clue #1: It's about a two hour road trip from Seattle, Washington to this spot....

Wow. I knew that was the Bay, but I couldn't picture any point on the water like that and never heard of the Wave Organ either. Looks like I have one more thing to see in the next two weeks before I move away from the Bay Area.

CalOldBlue -- Yep, that's the Wave Organ -- the sound pipes are mostly filled with sand these days -- no one is really taking care of the installation any more. But it's still one of my favorite places to go and watch the sailboats and etc cruise by!
And it tickles me to stump Twilight, who like you, knows the bay area pretty dang well!
