New Mexico/SW. Colorado Roadtrip

Just wanted to say thanks for some of the advice I received. Got back from my trip on Friday night. What a great week. Saw some unforgettable stuff. White Sands and Mesa Verde are absolutely must see. Moument Valley is right up there too. We even made a last second decision and hit the Grand Canyon. However, two of the coolest stops were unplanned ones: Valley Of The Gods in Utah, and Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico. Also fell in love with two towns that I would move to right now if offered a job -- Durango, CO and Flagstaff, AZ. Two beautiful towns. Anyways, thanks again for all the advice and help for making this week a memorable one.

Brett, thanks for the field report. I agree White Sands sorta defies description -- you sorta have to be there to "get-it". Gerald Thurman captured some recent views of Mesa Verde I think you will enjoy.
