Funny you should say that...
I was once 'deep in the forests of PA' without a GPS (last April) and had to use the Delorme to find my way over Mountain Rd. near New Tripoli when coming from Jim Thorpe. The map direction was accurate, but I didn't have an indication that it would be the type of road where locals fear to tread!
Benchmark looks good...hope they do some for the Northeast.

I used to really like and promote DeLorme until one August day in the Bitterroot Range in Idaho -- when the maps led me to take an un-advised road which eventually caused me to take the Phoenix One down a former ski run hill... (Now I can't blame the maps entirely -- I was still steering the truck, but...)
Yes, I like the "landscape" quality of the Benchmark maps.
