That is just one of the adventures I have planned for next Thursday -- also there is a maritime museum in Aberdeen. The area has many old castles and I plan to see a couple if possible -- I have had trouble determining if any are "open," although a local has told me that most of them are. Anyway, that particular section of coast is reputed to be extremely scenic, so I am looking forward to winding my way up the road, even though those people drive on the wrong side...
