We'll be in Yellowknife 2nd week in March, hopfully to see the northern lights and do whatever people do in -25C.
We're flying in to Vancouver from Aus, after a couple of days to recover from the flight we then fly to Yellowknife. From Yellowknife we fly to a remote lodge for the weekend and then back to Yellowknife.
We then fly out to Fort Lauderdale to start our road trip, and to warm up.

Yeah! it will be cold then. I will be looking forward to a first hand report on the Ice Road Truckers - one of my favourite shows.
When I was there, lots of folk were flying to outlying lodges for holidays. All places without vehicle access.
