Columbus to Los Angeles in June

Jenny, don't assume you will drive the Trail Ridge Raod. It definitely is a fantastic drive, with stunning views and view points. It was a road high on my 'must do' list. Finally, on my fifth attempt, I succeeded. Before that I had tried in July, August and September, and each time found it closed by a blizzard. Reality is, at that altitude blizzards can blow in at any time of the year. By all means plan to drive it. But be prepared to find it closed at the last minute. It's by no means a given any month of the year.
