It's fine to start from anywhere that might be included in your loop as a place of interest. The 'finest' start point for me would have an interest and offer the cheapest flight and car rental combo's.
All NP's are quite incredible and interesting in there own unique way, that's how they got NP status. The NPS 'Find a park' page lets you click on a State and look at each park in detail.
A car is easier to get around in and like I mentioned, you should weigh up the Pros and Cons for suitability. In the case of 6 people travelling with all your luggage you would need a large vehicle, or 2 smaller ones and you will also need 2 Motel rooms each night. This is one of those cases where the RV could be more budget friendly, but it still has to fit in with your 'Lifestyle' choice and trip plans.Quote:
We will probably have 6 traveling. Ahh sorry I didn't even consider a car. That sounds like a much cheaper alternative. I think it'd be a lot easier driving around in a car as opposed to an RV.
Enjoy your researching, but be sure to include your mates and what they want. You have to try and get on the same page and each have some input to make such a trip work. Good mates can quickly fall out when living in close quarters for extended periods of time, especially if they are doing things of no interest to them.
Get together and try the Compatibility test as a fun way to get going.
