We've done the Monterey Bay Aquarium very recently, and the one in Georgia including a bahind-the-scenes tour, so we're not doing Sea World this time around. DH said, "I'm kind of big fished out." Haha. Between the Wild Animal Park and the zoo, we picked the zoo this time around.
I know it seems like a lot, but 3 days of Disney isn't too long for us. :) With little kids needing more potty breaks, time between attractions, and afternoon naps and early bed times, we're assuming it will take that long to hit everything we want to see. Afternoon naps and toddler attention spans will influence all of the sight seeing, actually, so I'm trying to not overload each day.

Well - some food for thought - although the San Diego Zoo is probably one of the world's finest zoos, when you boil right down to it a zoo is a zoo. The Wild Animal Park is unique.

We can certainly switch from zoo to Wild Animal Park. I'll look into both and see what DH thinks.

3 days with The Mouse!
We have always done three days in Disneyland (and then usually a day at Universal, and another at Knott's Berry Farm). We're suckers for the rides, parades and fun. And, yeah, it's nice to stay close-by and be able to leave the park for a bit in the afternoon when it's hottest and busiest for a cooling-off dip in the pool or a nap. Good plan.
ETA - We never went when our kids were that young though. There are going to be a lot of rides they can't go on. And I expect that some of the stuff just won't interest them much. But I'm sure you know this. Three days will give you that more leisurely pace. If your kids can get up early without being crabby, check to see if they still open Main Street an hour before the rides are open. If so, get there early like that as the crowds are much smaller and do some rides and enjoy yourselves before it gets crowded. I do have to wonder if three days will be a bit too long since your choice of rides are going to be so limited. But you could always take that third day and go to Knotts Berry Farm. I think that's more little kid-friendly than Universal.
