Cuts
I shortened it further. I took out Texas and Oklahoma and from New Orleans just went straight up into Arkansas from Louisiana. This is 2,975 miles.
With Texas and Oklahoma it was 3,300
The original plan was over 3,800
So the TX and OK option is 500 less and the one without it is over 800 less. I think that is significant with either trip.

The planned trip was completed safely as scheduled in four days. I would never make the distance longer than this for four days, though. It was tough but the speed run was completed
