recent no thrills no frills cross country trip

i didn't even have to open a paper map. worked almost flawlessly. saved me money too. all the motels (full info & phone#) were on the road ahead (I-80) and i called ahead to check prices and availability while driving 75-85 mph.

RT-80 is the way to go. the speed limit was 75mph from halfway through Iowa i think. average speed was at least 80-85 and i did plenty of 100-130mph dashes. not many cops i'm surprised. sorry to offend anyone, but my car can handle it and the road was very clear.

i'm glad i didn't take I-40 down South.

just wanted to get there. into Utah it was nice though. Lake Tahoe was snowing....and very pretty.
