ME and a buddy are thinking of taking a vw bus from sacramento CA down to so-cal then up the coast to washington and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for places to see that are memorable, mabey good campgrounds or hot springs and mabey some cool attractions. and what route would be the most scenic but wouldent take forever. also any advise for problems that may arise from an old vw taking a beating.
