I will be making the trip from DC to N.E. Oregon shortly after the new year. I will be in a front wheel drive car, but I am not entirely comfortable driving in snow/ice. I would like to encounter as little bad weather as possible. Any advice on what the best route would be, and where the worst spots are at? I am not interested in sightseeing this trip, just getting there quick and safe. Thanks.
