Warm Spring = Early Opening of Tioga Pass!

Press Release: "...Beginning at noon on Friday, May 14, the Glacier Point Road and the Tioga Road, the continuation of Highway 120 between Crane Flat and Lee Vining, will open for the season..."

This is quite unusual and would be an awesome roadtrip for anyone who is near enough to Yosemite to check it out. One Caveat -- snow storms are still possible this time of year, so the weather might not cooperate, but the views of the high country in early Spring are incredible. (I may have to play hookey...)
