We are planning a move from Newport, RI to Atlanta, GA and are seeking advice for fast alternate routes that bypass the big traffic problems encountered on I- 95 (NYC and DC). Or, at least advice on getting around both NYC and DC and back to I- 95.
We are considering the following route (95 S to 287 around NYC, 78 W (NJ) to 81 (PA and through the Appalachians) to 75. Is this advisable? Thanks!
