I am planning a long (6-12 months) road trip across the country and would like to use both my current Directv receiver for watch tv, etc but the wrinkle is I want to do this on my laptop.
The laptop already has the ability to play DVD movies so I want to go the extra step.
Oh yeah, I'm planning to have internet access via wireless hotspots. Anyone have experience with these providers?
