New Jersey South + 2 Weeks + Rental Car

Hi there.
I am from Germany and I am staying in the US from August 3rd- 24th. I intended to do a road trip for 2 weeks just heading south from NJ to see where the road takes us with my friend. However, she backed off last minute! Now I am looking for a travel partner, m or f to accompany me. I will have a rental car. Perhaps we could share gas and accomodations. I didn't have time to consult the travel guide thoroughly, but I wanted to drive Blue Ridge Pkwy and visit Charleston and Savannah.
