campgrounds, hostels, B&B's

Hi,

I'm going on a roadtrip and I don't want to plan all that much. So I was wondering if there was a way I could get a hard copy of a list of U.S. Bed & Breakfasts, cheap hotels, hostels, and campgrounds. That way, I could have it in the car and just choose where to go instead of having to plan in advance. I'd appreciate anybody's help.

There are plenty of such resources, but they are not free. Don Wright has written a couple of books listing free campgrounds. Other guide books can be purchased on this site. Look under Books...
