My girlfriend and I are taking a trip from NJ to Salt Lake City, UT. Pretty much all the directions I've gotten involve taking I-80, but from what I've found, there's really not much to see along the way. We have about 4 days to make the trip, any not too far out of the way sight-seeing suggestions?

For a much more scenic route, pick up I-70 around Pittsburg, PA and follow it all the way to its junction with I-15 in Utah then take the short jog north on I-15 to SLC. There's lots to see along the route and the scenery on Colorado and Utah will dazzle you. Have a great trip.
