Driving U.S. 40 Who has driven this in the last 5 years?

I cannot find any books on this old highway which starts in Atlantic City N.J. and ends in San Fransisco Ca. Any information would be helpful. Yes I have seen the website but am looking for someone who has driven this or whats left of it in last 5 years.
