Leasing a minivan?

Hi all!

I need a bit of help.
A friend and I want to hire/lease/rent a minivan for 3 months starting in NY and ending up in Los Angeles.
Has anyone got any ideas?
We would buy a van, but i cant get a quote without having a car, and we'd only have 4 days in new york to purchase anything!

Although nothing is impossible, I do not know of any national car rental firm that allows any one-way rentals of mini-vans.
