Road trip thoughts....

Did a road trip from Southern Texas (Brownsville) to Calgary Canada. Took to different routes, I-10 to I-15 up and 1-25 to I-10 down. I found eastern Texas very boring, very dirty, like you were in Mexico. New Mexico was very neat but looked almost deserted in places. Wyoming was also nice. Expected more from the Rockies near Denver and Montana. The best place to see the Montains was near Calgary and into Banff. that is the best place to go. Also really liked Arizona, it was pretty neat there. But if you want to see the rockies and are travelling to Denver and through Montanna don't expect much, go up to Canada and it will be worth it. Was also surprised at the amount of poverty in Southen Texas.
