Hi
I am wondering if anyone has any resources for renting an RV to travel in. We want to go west from Boston and need something we can camp in. Any suggestions?

You can check out our new site: http://www.roadgetaways.com to see if anything catches your eye. Online reservations for RV rentals, as well as motorcycles, Jeeps and cars.

My family of fiverented an RV this past summer for a week-long trip from LA to the Grand Canyon and back. We didn't actually sleep in it (my mom hates "camping"), but it was very handy , especially for the long stretches where there was absolutely no place to stop. Having your own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom was pretty nice. My dad found a rental place through AAA. We were able to get a good price, plus they upgraded us for free. Good luck, and have fun on your trip!

Most large bookstores carry "Motor Home" magazine. The back section contains ads for a variety of motor home rental outlets. Each issue also contains useful tips and 2 or 3 destination articles. Have a great trip.
Here is an option that should allow for rental on either coast. Lease and buy-back are offered as well. I have not used them so I cannot recommend. Hopefully others can for you. I am considering them for a trip 01/01/02. If you go with them, I would appreciate hearing what you think. Enjoy.
