New York and New England

Hi

We are looking to do a 2 week road trip from mid July starting from New York and travelling around New England and finishing back in New York.

This is our first road trip so we need all the advice we can get, what to do, where to stay, what route to take, what car etc.

We have 2 kids 11 & 13 so any advice would be great.

Providing a bit more information might be helpful. I could provide some information about Maine in particular if you are coming to Maine. What do you like to do? What are your interests? What types of things do the kids enjoy? Where in NY are you?
