Which route: Sioux Falls to Chicago RIGHT NOW!!

Hey everyone! Making my way right now from Sioux Falls to Chicago and after poking around online have found I have at least 3 options: 1) take 90 the whole way, 2) head south to prairie du chien along the 35 in WI to see some of the Mississippi River, or 3) head down into Iowa before hitting Illinois.

Any others? And which would you pick??

The deciding factors will depend upon a few things that you haven't told us.

How much time do you have? If this is going to be a one day trip, then sticking to the Interstates really is your only practical option.

Where in Chicago are you heading? If you're heading to the Northside or Downtown, I'd probably stick to I-90, if your destination is in the south suburbs, then heading down to I-80 might be the better choice.

If you've got more than a day, then you can certainly start looking at scenic detours or other route options - including, but not limited to the Great River Road.
