A rockslide has closed I-75 in northern TN between Caryville and Jellico for "weeks to come". Northbound detour is US-25W, southbound detour is TN-297 and TN-63. Expect lengthy delays as the alternates are narrow mountain roads. The "wide load" detour is US-25E at Corbin KY/I-81/I-40.
As a child I drove between Ohio and Tennessee on US 25 numerous times, before I-75 was built. There were lengthy delays back then. With the amount of traffic that flows along I-75 today, especially as Spring Break is about to begin, I can only image the delays! Drive safe.Quote:
