Denver to San Francisco in November, bad idea?
I am considering a road trip on Nov 18 from Denver to San Fran, I have about a week time... I am a SoCal guy and have zero experience in driving in the snow.
How are the road conditions and is there enough places to check out in this time of the year?
Any advice and suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Thank you.
No need to be on the road in adverse weather.

By keeping an eye on the forecast, you should be able to avoid most adverse weather. However, should a storm blow up and there is snow on the road you best get off it and check into the nearest hotel. Once the road crews have done their job, you can get on the road again. You are fortunate that you have a good amount of time for this trip.
