Sf la vegas

Hey just wanting some tips and advice ! Me and my boyfriend (we are very early 20's) are coming to America in about a month. We have planned 4 days in San Fran 4 days in Venice beach (we want to do a little touristy time here but mainly want to relax in Venice beach !) 2 nights in Vegas (mainly as we wanna see the Grand Canyon not big gamblers !) then 4 days in LA then we are flying to New York where we have one night and 2 full days before home. We are wanting to do this on quite a budget as it's quite a last minute trip and he has been away in America so we decided I could visit him and do this trip. We have booked to see a baseball game in LA and I'm also booking universal studios Alcatraz Grand Canyon rockerfeller centre and Statue of Liberty tickets this week ! We have paid all our travel (unfortunately we don't drive so are using megabus and similar services that run in the night) and our accommodation is alraDy paid for. Are there any other must see places you can advise an how much money would you recommend to bring if all the above is already paid for ? (As I said we are trying to do it cheaply due to circumstances !) thanks for any info :) x

If you don't drive, I'm assuming you are taking some sort of tour down to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. You'll want to make sure that you are going to go to the Grand Canyon NATIONAL PARK, South Rim, rather than the "west rim", which is Indian land and not nearly as spectacular as the South Rim. If taking a flight tour, bear in mind that those also do not go over the National Park because they aren't allowed to do so! It will most likely be over the Indian lands on the western end -- again, not so spectacular.
