Hey Americans, what would you like to see in a documentary about US??

Hello, I'm Svetlana, a documentary film-maker from Russia. On 4 July 2012 we (two girls from Russia) start our trip from New York to Los Angeles. We'll shoot a road movie documentary! Not a classic one like on TV... Our film will be an authentic one, dynamic, without any scripts, prepared dialogs, fiction scenes, speaking "experts heads" and so on... it will be a really free and crazy film with a fresh look. And sure an interesting one! Therefore I ask you all in this forum the question: what would you like to see? What would be interesting for american people? Places? People? Social life? Nature? What shell we attract attention on? I will be happy about any suggestions! Thank you!

From my experience, the most interesting documentaries are the ones which feature those things which interest the producer most. That way, their interest and personality comes through.

So what is it that YOU want to film?

I think it would be more interesting to watch if it shows some of the differences between Russia and the U.S. So, if you go to places that are far different from any you've been to before, eat foods you've never had, etc, viewers will probably find your perspectives more interesting. Americans would probably enjoy seeing you go to some of the most famous cities and natural sights along the way to see your reactions to them.
