Hello!
I live in Sweden and excuse me for my bad english.
Me and my friend are planning a one week roadtrip in the beginning of September.
We will begin our trip in New York and then visit the following places on our trip in theese order.
Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Niagara falls.
Can anyone suggest places to visit and which roads we should take on our trip.

My first suggestion would be to go get a good USA road map or at least a map of the Northeastern states of the US. That will help you plan the routes that will present themselves simply by seeing them on the map.
Niagara Falls would be worth spending an entire day and evening there. (You may enjoy seeing the Falls lit up at night.) You could spend more than a day there if you wanted to take the boat cruise (Maid of the Mist) at the bottom of the falls or do the Cave of the Winds tour.
In Boston, there are SO many places to see, mostly historical! Poke around this website and see what interests you.
I'm sure others will chime in here and throw out some other ideas.
