West coast to East coast road trip! Now considering one or two companions to share.

Hi road trippers! I have a pretty short window to decide whether to take companion to drive with me from either San Francisco or Los Angeles toward east with my final destination Miami, FL.

My plan is flexible, but I have these estimate dates in mind for the coast-to-coast road trip.
First, start from San Francisco to Los Angeles & stay couple days. On Aug 21st.
Then I'm thinking about stopping in Las Vegas, Phoenix, New Orleans, and finally Miami.
