I'm not sure whether this is the right forum for this request, but my partner and i are driving from San Francisco to Vegas for my brothers wedding in the beginning of September (He's Irish; I've no idea why he chose Vegas as the ideal spot for his nuptial celebration, but that's beside the point). We were wondering if there is anywhere along any route between these two destinations that we could check out some farm machinery auctions or sales? I'd appreciate any help at all...

I'm not aware of anything specific, but you would be driving right through the Central (San Joaquin) Valley if you take I-5 or CA-99 to Bakersfield, and that's one of the prime farming areas in the country.

As GLC mentioned, you'll be driving through one of the largest agriculture areas in the world, here's a site to help you get started in your research.
