10 days-Chicago to Dakotas, to WY, to Glacier Park and back
We would like to take 10 days this April to drive from Chicago out west and back again. Points of interest are Mt. Rushmore, The Badlands, Yellowstone, any other historic landmarks and if we have time, Glacier Park in MT. It will only be my husband and myself and we would be staying in hotels or cabins or whatever is cheap, along the way. Any route, sights, places to say and/or eat, that you could suggest, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
second verse same as the first
Welcome back to the RTA Forum!
I take it you never took your trip 3 years ago? You never responded back to the comments you received when you made this same basic request back then, so you might want to take another look at the advice you received back then.
It looks like you've abandoned the RV idea this time?
10 days isn't much time as it is for all the things you've already said you want to visit, but a few other things would include the Corn Palace, all of the other things in the Black Hills (Custer State Park, Jewel & Wind Caves, Deadwood, Crazy Horse). You've also got Little Bighorn Battlefield in MT and Teddy Roosevelt NP in ND that could be worked into your trip.
