6 Day Honeymoon Roadtrip: Santa Barbara, Ca - Dallas, Tx
My new wife and I decided to forgoe the normalcy of a honeymoon in the tropics for something the both of us have always wanted to do: explore this great country!
We are going to be stopping in Vegas for the first night, than its pretty open. I'm hopping that I can get some suggestions on potential land marks and attractions (grand canyon, Worlds Largest Tumbleweed, etc.)
Thanks in advance!

Honeymoon road trips have always been a popular option. The biggest piece of advice I can offer is to cut down the pace a bit -- most new honeymooners want to drive long and far each day -- but spending time sleeping in and lounging by the pool makes for a much better memory-creating trip in my view. Pushing hard, 8-10 hours of travel per day, you could drive from Santa Barbara to Dallas in three days, so by allowing six days, you should have some time for kicking back and enjoying yourselves. (This is not a round trip is it?) Welcome to the Great American RoadTrip Forum!

Well, what sort of things interest you more? Hiking? Roadside Attractions, moon-lit soaks in hot tubs?
