Ontario Family Road Trip
Hi! My friend and I and our 4 kids, ages 9-12, are driving to Canada August 9-23. We're starting in MA, then traveling on to Lake George and Niagara Falls, NY; Cedar Point, OH; through Michigan to the UP; then we have a few days to drive to Toronto (we're going to a Red Sox game on Aug. 20!); the on to Montreal; through Vermont; and home.
Any suggestions? We have active kids. :)
Thanks!

Very Ambitious
Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!
That's a remarkably long and involved trip you've got laid out and will require that you spend about half the time available to you in the car. Besides the Falls, ball game, and amusement park, some places you may want to look at for kid friendly activities include the Erie Canal, a ferry ride out to some offshore islands in Lake Erie. Dearborn's Greenfield Village outside Detroit, Colonial Michilimackinac State Historical Park, the Soo Locks, and the Thousand Islands region at the head of the St. Lawrence. Those, together with your already planned stops, should keep everybody happy.
