Hello,
looking for advice on a 2 week road trip, starting in either Atlanta or New Orleans.
We would like to visit, Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans, and anywhere else inbetween that is worth a look. We are less fussed about Atlanta but seemed a good place to start from (and fly into) but are very much open to ideas. We would like to finish somewhere close to a main road west, maybe 66.

You have simply not told anyone anything about the purpose of this trip and so there's no way anyone can give you any ideas other than just random suggestions. Those you can get anywhere. Clearly, you all have some sense of what you want to do/see/accomplish on this trip unless your destination cities were also just chosen at random. So help us help you by telling us what you have in mind.

The purpose of this trip is to see some of the highlights of the region. Cities, parks, famous things etc. We have read lots about the places such as NO and Memphis etc, but thought you might have some ideas of a good route around the region and things we have not considered etc. any thoughts are helpfull.
