Baltimore to Wherever :)
Three of my really good friends and i (all college students) have 4 days to take a road trip to wherever. We want to go down south to get away from the cold. We did want to go to FL but we don't have enough time. I was just wondering if anyone knew of some cool attractions south of Baltimore that we could visit. We don't want to take any major highways, and at this point we don't really have a game plan at all (So any advice on which roads to take would be amazing too :)) We were thinking of maybe trying to find a haunted hotel to stay in for one night, but we are up for whatever. Thanks!

Tight Criteria
Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!
Within a day of Baltimore on non-major highways and warm at this time of year. Well one place that pops to mind is Myrtle Beach, SC and the Grand Strand. You can get there using US-15 and US-501 rather than I-95 and still have about two days to poke around. Highs over the next 10 days or so are predicted to bee in the low 70s
Another option would be the Outer Banks of North Carolina reachable using the Bay Bridge over to the Eastern Shore and then down the Delmarva Peninsula and then across the Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel to Norfolk and finally VA-168/US-158/NC12. While not quite as warm (highs around 65) it was home to some of America's most fearsome pirates.

Go east, and down through Salisbury and through the Delmarva Peninsula. You can cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Then just head down the coast as far as you want and then turn back.
It's not going to be that warm... but it's at least scenic.
