I live in NYC and want to drive to Florida. I want to take the "scenic" route, though. What things are worth considering seeing on the way to Miami Beach, Florida? The only thing is, I don't want to diverge too much from I-95. I am new at this so I'll take any recommendations from anyone who has done something similar before.

This same basic trip has come up quite frequently on this forum. Here is one thread to get you started, but I think you'll find lots of ideas if you browse around the forum, looks at the similar threads feature at the bottom of this page, and perhaps use the search function.
The only thing is I don't know what there is to do in those places.
Virginia Beach, Savannah, Kitty Hawk?
