A "Non-Profit" RoadTrip

Similar to the post by the chap who was asking about "charity roadtrip" stuff in an R.V....

I am curious to know if there is anything in the U.S. that is organized (i.e Gumball Rally , or Sucata Run, but in the U.S. ) where all the money goes to the efforts of a non-profit organization. Are there any organizations or non-profits that organize a "road-trip"/ tour of sorts, where cars drive from point A to point B and get monetary sponsorship from their friends family and colleagues (kinda like the jog-a-thons in middle school) and stipulate that the cars be junk cars or follow a theme or whatever...

Every year there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of events involving cars and trucks doing road trips where the proceeds(?) go to the non-profit organizations who sponsor them -- do a search for car rallies.

Unique is probably the Nevada Silver State Classic Challenge, which is certainly a race.

There are at least a dozen programs sponsored by various USA universities that include some form a road trip program each summer.

Plus, there are companies like ours, that produce road trip promotional tours for "non-profit" companies like the American Cancer Society.
