3 week RV trip starting from Toronto - help please

Hi folks - We are wanting to travel from UK hire RV and enjoy 3 weeks beg. Aug 2008 starting out from Toronto. DH and I have 2 kids 6 and 9 - got all excited last night flicking thru books and looking at where to go - stupidly had been thinking in couple mode and now realise I probably need to be a bit more child oriented re. pacing - Does anyone have any good ideas - Is Hamilton worth popping in on ? - curious as my dad was born there in 1920s but have never been. Any ideas or tips really appreciated - Thanks

I am not familiar with Hamilton, but if you have some history there, it would certainly be worth checking out, if for no other reason than to satisfy your curiosity.

You don't say where you had planned on going from Toronto - are you thinking of traveling in the United States, or staying in Canada?

I would recommend having the kids get involved in at least some portion of the planning, such as places to visit. This will give them ownership of some part of the trip and they'll more likely be more excited about (at least) that part.

There must be some reason that you chose Toronto to start from - what kinds of things are you interested in seeing?
