Please help plan roadtrip Las Vegas to California-Grand Canyon
Hi. So happy to find this site. My husband and I are planning to take a road trip for our honeymoon. We have 2-3 weeks and are free to leave any time after 7/28. We live in NYC and thought it would be easy to fly to Las Vegas and then rent a car. We would appreciate any help you can give us as far as planning a route, recommended itinerary, average cost (not including airfare and car rental). Its the first road trip for both of us. Also, we are both not really experienced drivers. We live in NYC and don't own a car so its not often we get to drive. We would like to see California and the Grand Canyon. Also any other recommendations that you have for places nearby that we could fit in 2-3 weeks time period. Thanks very much!

Congratulations on the pending wedding! Primary words of advice -- take it easy! A first road trip already will have too many sources of strain and so take plenty of time to rest, sleep in and take long walks with your new partner in crime....Even though you probably know all of the answers... it is a good idea for both of you to take this quiz and discuss the answers before you head the road.
