Northeast advice first timers?
We are planning to rent a class A for the first time this June and originally had grand hopes of a two week trip from our home in NH to Yellowstone and back. We are now scaling back to a one week trip and were thinking of heading out through New York, Niagara falls, loop around and head back. That is the extent of our trip plan to date........Does anyone have any suggestions for family friendly locations (7 yr old and 11 yr old) along this general route? We are hoping for a moderate to active adventure to see the best that our neck of the woods has to offer!
Thanks in advance for any advice!
There's Never a Shortage of Ideas
Only a shortage of time to see them all. On your way from Niagara to Sleeping Bear Dunes, some possibilities include Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cedar Point, Put-in_Bay, and Greenfield Village. Coming back, have a look at taking a completely different route and see Battle Creek, use US-6 across northern Pennsylvania, and stop at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area before making the final run for home.
