Hi everyone,
My sister is relocating to St. Louis and I'm going to be her travel buddy for the drive. We're traveling from the Philadelphia area. This is my first time venturing out West, and I was hoping that someone could provide some advice on where to go, what to see, etc. I appreciate any input you can give. Thanks.

It's roughly a four day round-trip for you, so how much time do you have in all?
You could take a Northern route on the way out, hitting Pittsburgh, Columbus, Indianapolis; a Southern route on the way back, going to Louisville, Lexington, up through Virginia on US-11 or I-81, through the Shenandoah Valley, and head back up to Philadelphia.

Thanks for the welcome and for getting back to me so quickly. I'm driving out to St. Louis with my sister and then I'm flying back to Philly, so my roadtrip will only be one way. We're not pressed for time, so we'd like to take a leisurely route and stop somewhere overnight on the way. The southern route sounds nice. Whatever you can suggest would be most appreciated.
