My boyfriend and I have tickets to a concert in Toronto in March and I was debating flying in for the weekend or taking a six day road trip and stopping some places on the way. Obviously Niagara Falls is on the list of Places to see but I was wondering if anyone had ideas (Adventurous or Romantic) on other interesting places to go that would make it worth the long drive. Thanks for your help.

The country between New York City and Toronto is scenic, historic and romantic and offers a number of attractions that have been written about here. Although some of these may be a little repetitive, they are all generally talking about a trip that should appeal to you, basically a circuit of Lake Ontario:
Lake Loop with Toronto
Between Philadelphia and Toronto
An Empire Circuit
Lake Ontario Loop
AZBuck
While in Niagara Falls, make sure to visit a small town just outside Niagara Falls called 'Niagara on the Lake'. It's a nice little town with shopping, theater, golf, and winery's.
