Welcome!
Welcome to the RoadTrip America Forum!
I don't know much about motorcycles, so I cannot really help you there, but we do have several members that enjoy taking to the road on two wheels. Hopefully some of them will be around to offer you some suggestions.
Two months on the road is a good amount of time. I imagine you are a US citizen? If so, then you will require a passport to cross the border into and back out of Canada. I would imagine you are familiar with the law changes if you have worked in Alaska in the past, and have driven there. If you've flown in, then that is a different story.
How early in the Spring are you planning on taking this trip? Would this be the middle to end of March, or a bit later in April? The reason is the weather. I would suggest taking in some of the great National Parks in the Northwest and Northern Rockies, but the weather may play against you at that time of year.
What other things are you interested in? Some folks really enjoy the city life, others nature, still others just want to be on the road because it is there.
