3-5 Parks
Hi,
The list of "must-sees" in this area is too long for 4 days but it looks like you could do a 5 park sweep - Grand Canyon (south and/or north rims), Zion, Bryce, Escalante, and Captiol Reef. If you throw in a stop in Sedona, you can probably only see 3 parks. Also on the list of primo places are Canyonlands, Arches and Monument Valley (but including them would be more of a drive-by than a visit).
Also, there are interesting places like Walnut Canyon, Wapatki, and Natural Bridges, Canyon de Chelly, Petrified Forest, and more! Whew, too many for a month!
Were I you, I'd do the Grand Canyon first, head to Zion and just continue on north to Bryce, etc., until I ran out of time. Only you know how long you'll need for each park.
If you don't see them all, fly into Salt Lake City the next time and do it from the north. Or Albuquerque, there's a ton of good stuff in New Mexico, too.
