looking for a place to stay-- need help
me and a group of 10 people are looking for an inexpensive place in NH to camp for a weekend. the inexpensive places we have found have no cell phone service and no public phones and we arent that experienced with camping, so we arent comfortable being that "alone". every other place we have found is expensive and is to much of a tourist attraction with pools and arcades and waterslides. we are looking for a place in the mountains or lake region where we can hike, swim, and actually camp, but still have access to the real world. any ideas or suggestions? anything would be helpful.
Rustic -- can often mean out-of-touch

A public campground with no pay phone? In NH? Where is this place? Welcome to the Great American RoadTrip Forum!

New Hampshire is graced with several state parks and lots of options all through the White Mountains.
Here is a list of the campgrounds and their amenities in the White Mountain National Forest.

If we knew your budget, it might help us, help you.
