RV Curious ...
Thinking about buying a Class A gas RV. Never experienced RVing so I plan to rent a unit and do a short 5-6 day trip as follows: Depart CT and drive to Arcadia National Park, Me (400 mi) ... for overnight stop … then drive to the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia (400 mi) … cruise the coast for a couple of days and return home. I love the Ocean and would prefer to set-up on the ocean instead of checking into an RV campsite. Is that possible, can you recommend any locations? I'm an experienced CDL driver so the driving is not an issue. Any suggestions or ideas would be great. Thanks for your help. Mike

Welcome!
Welcome to the RoadTrip America Forum!
We have a couple of links for you to check out - one is about renting an RV.
The other, planning an RV trip.
According to the NPS site for Acadia camping, they do not have sites directly on the water. However, campgrounds in nearby Bar Harbor should be able to provide you what you are looking for. This is a busy area, you may wish to reserve ahead of time. As far as being able to camp directly on the beaches, outside of the confines of a campground, that may be difficult to obtain.
